First of all, you are not alone. This comes up more than you might think, and it does not necessarily mean you cannot order your book.
Birth time affects the finer details of your chart, particularly your profile and some of your centre definitions. So it is worth doing a little detective work before you order.
Here are some places to start:
Check your long form birth certificate, not all short form versions include the time. If yours does not, contact the hospital where you were born or the vital records registry in your city or country. Many hospitals kept detailed records even when birth certificates did not. If you were born in Australia, the UK, or the US, the relevant state or regional registry is usually your best starting point.
Ask family members. Parents, grandparents, or older relatives often remember details like whether you arrived in the early hours, during the day, or in the evening. Even narrowing it down to morning or afternoon is genuinely helpful.
If you were adopted, or were born in a country or culture where birth times were not routinely recorded, the honest answer is that an exact time may not be available to you.
We understand this is a frustrating situation, especially when it feels like the information you need is simply out of reach through no fault of your own. If you have a rough window of a few hours, that is often enough to work with.
In cases where the birth time remains elusive, consider consulting an experienced Vedic Astrologer who could potentially offer insights.
